Rigged Beyond Belief

Sports entertainment, not sport, legally. Duce catch, Duce OPI, personal foul, not one consequential call against UVA, FSU getting hosed all night. It’s a Jake Paul fight at this point. Unfortunately the game, while not completely scripted, is controlled by conflicting interests. That was a varsity vs JV game, and all the officiating & “unprecedented transparency,” predictably gave UVA the win. Vegas controls the outcomes, Tobacco Road controls the ACC, love me a good sporting event, this ain’t that.

Deuce didn’t make that catch. It was brutal, dude had been a monster all night (agree the Offensive PI was BS), but he never controlled the TD pass. This isn’t on the refs, we lost this game.

Have to disagree he had the ball with two hands was pulling into his chest, and his foot was on the ground. You don’t have to have the ball against your chest for it to be a catch. It was moving a long time, but his foot was still on the ground when he finally controlled it. Certainly not indisputable, which is what it has to be to overturn the call.

The short pass to Sawchuck in OT was a perfect call. He had a convoy. I think he scores.

If Tommy throws a better ball in the screen to 27 on ot 1, that was probably a touchdown and we had a better chance of winning. Then Robinson clearly didn’t make the catch in 2 ot. So each key play failed to make a big play and it cost us, among a million orher things . This was not a ref issue. We sucked

Nope, ball was clearly still moving when he was out of bounds. In real time, I thought he had it, seemed pretty clear on replay

No, he didn’t. His hand came off the ball at the end. Go watch it back. It wasn’t a catch.

He had not only 1, but 2 feet in bounds with possession. I take it you don’t watch a lot of ball.

Would’ve could’ve should’ve but at the end of the day, it still didn’t matter. If you don’t think the Robinson catch was legit, I’m not sure it’s worth a response. Now the officials and a far distant second, the defense, are points worth discussing. Lotta people who are absolutely painfully clueless, with grandiose opinions. Say you would be exhibit A.

It wasn’t a catch unfortunately, but the offensive PI and early personal foul were garbage. Rigged though? Nah, just crap refs

That was not a legit catch. The thing was moving. Good players make that catch 10 out of 10

He is t the reason we lost bud. Score 38 and lose. 1000000000% on the D. We don’t have talent. It’s that simple. It will show even more next week. I LOVE MY NOLES, but we aren’t even close. And, it will stay that way. We don’t have the money to buy players. Nobody big wants to come here. CMN can’t recruit.

Like I said in the post, and a million other things, not just those two plays. But at the very end, in the key moments, our key players didn’t come through as well. Agree, defense was horrible. We didn’t help in the first half with the fumble and int. There first 14 points were from offensive turnovers

They called Holding on UVA and it erased a TD…of course they still scored on the next play, but they called it.

I think he was still bobbling the catch. My issue is the thousands of students on the field surrounding the end zone with no barriers while the game was still being played.

The non catch was correct call. My issues is with our dline being held on every play stretching the jerseys right in front of the refs.

He was in the process of tucking it if you watch full speed. It wasn't a bobble. Of course the ball moves slightly when you go to tuck it. But when you only watch the super slo-mo you don't see the context of what is happening. He possessed it with 2 feet before he ever makes the move to tuck the ball. But because the ball moves when you go to tuck it away, that was considered a bobble in super slo mo instead of what it was. Clear possession. 2 feet in. Then tucks the ball.

They didn't call the blatant hold on 3rd down in the 1st OT. Makes it 49 yards instead of 39 yards.

Watch it full speed and watch the slow mo. Ball doesn't move for the 2 steps. The movement is when he goes to tuck it. He never bobbles it. Clean tuck.

Yeah. I've watched it as many different times as you can ask. That's not a catch. We can agree to disagree.
