Screw it. Throw 15 million a year at Kiffen

As Jay G said last night, if you have to throw $15m at someone for them just to show interest in your job, he’s not the right guy. I’m not saying don’t go after Lane, I’m saying don’t be foolish about it either. Why stop at $15 million?

I would rather throw big money at a legit coach than get by for less but pay millions in damn buyouts.

Thanks. Completely agree. We're paying our roster tens of millions but want to go bargain shopping for a coach.

I dont look at JGTs comments. Dont stop at 15. Pay him whatever it takes. This 5 year BS is tiring.

bama paid Saban an outrageous amount (for the time) to lure him to Tuscaloosa…I don’t see logic here hat someone isn’t the right guy just because you have to pay up

You make a fair point. My counterpoint would be what we are doing isnt working. Pay less for players if that is what it takes. Maxing out on players isnt working so get a good roster, pay for a qb and a few others. Id argue our roster is better than Ole miss and its pretty obvious what has happened.

Name one good thing that Kiffen has done? Anything? He hasn't even coached a game in the SEC!!! If you're going to throw money around, go after Lane Kiffin instead. He's got a pedigree.
