How is that different from Saban's past sideline meltdowns?

You obviously don’t know why he did this. With what happened, I don’t blame him 1 bit.

May be his only option after the season if things go sideways. May be a mutual parting of ways.

He doesn’t want to live in his dad coat tails. Would be shocked if he ended up here.

Just like Beamer Saban lost his shit when Alabama was getting beat. USCe was ranked prior to the Vandy game.

I'm on Beamer's side here. Refs suck! When there's nothing holding them accountable, they can call however they feel without fear of consequences

As a retired football official doing HS and DIII college, I can say for certain there are ramifications. They could lose a game check, be assigned to a lower teams officiating crew, or outright dismissal if it's a reoccurring problem. Yes, most all will say losing a game check is nothing. But it does have an impact as the rest of the crew may not have 100% confidence in him. What that does is make that official embarrassed and to make him strive harder to regain that trust by better officiating.

Isn't referring a part time position? I would be open to the idea of it becoming a full time position, and during the off season, they have to complete "x" number of training hours before they can be recertified.

I have absolutely no problem with this. He's advocating for his player who just got knocked out of the game with a shot to the head. Nothing to see here. I'd have done the same thing. AJ

Fussing at the officials or players for not doing their job is not being a dick especially when someone like Saban puts in the work to be best of all time at their profession

Like these guys here wouldn't go nuclear if Nuss got knocked out of a game. Look at what they're doing when we're 3-0.
