Losing Beamer would not be good for this program. You’re an idiot if you think that would be a good idea with all these HC positions that are opening up. Crazy we were 1 game from the playoff last year (and would’ve been in if the refs didn’t screw us vs LSU) and now people want Shane gone because of 1 season. Continuity at the top and what helps a program like SC build. Shane’s building, he just needs to make a few adjustments around him.

Do you see next year being better? We've already shown we will not "overpay" in the portal and with the mass exodus we are about to endure at season end what do you think next year will look like? 3-9, maybe 4-8?

How do you know we will have a mass exodus?? Do you have any inside connections?? Because I hear this team is still bought in on Beamer and still loves him. You can’t speak on hypotheticals. Beamer has talent in Columbia, this year didn’t go as expected but Beamer can turn it around…he did last year when no one expected it

It's fair to say Sellers will be gone along with Stewart, and Kilgore. And we have consistently not wanted to "overpay" in the portal..so where's the talent you thinks going to make a splash?

1. Shane even said himself that if you use the "couple plays away from the CFP" argument you also have to acknowledge that we were a couple plays away from being a lot worse than 9-3. 2. He's needed to "make a few adjustments around him" for 5 years now. Why would Year 6 expect to be different?

The question is will he make adjustments? Everyone around us at the game Saturday says if Shula is not gone after season, Shane should be.

The only one of those I can see losing is Stewart to Ohio State to replace Caden Curry who is a likely 1st round pick.

Nothing against Beamer, but he wasn't sought after when USC hired him and probably not now after a bad record.

Have we had a mass exodus under Beamer? Did we have a mass exodus after 5-7? No we kept our core players and built off of it. I see no reason that it will be any different this go around.

1992 to 2000: LSU was 52-50. 2001 to 2010: 102-49. 2011 to 2020: 111-31. 2021 to present: 40-21. They’ve had 8 losing seasons since we joined the SEC. They turned the corner when they hired Nick Saban. If Nick Saban is the guy, then Shane might be in trouble. Do you believe Nick wants to come to The USC? Color me skeptical.
