So if we get Monken who is the OC?

Chip would likely have stayed of course if that was the hire but alas he is gone. My hope is a young and hungry guy that Monken could groom to take the reins in 5 or so years.

Good question. On a different note, perhaps he can bring some of the defensive minds with him. Wink and Morgan seemed to do well though. Maybe they are retained if TM is hired.

Willie Taggart and Wink Martindale are likely the coordinators.

I’d assume IF Monken is the choice, he has a long list of which to choose from. Should be interesting if it plays out.

That doesn’t seem like a HC in waiting hire but that might not also be his plan.

Some potential names: QB Chip Lindsay, Mizzou OC (Unlikely, but possible he pulls an Enos of some variety. Was Monken's OC at Southern Miss) QB Buster Faulkner, UF OC (Probably unlikely since he just took the UF job, but was on staff w/Monken at UGA) QB Mike Shula (Worked together at Jacksonville) QB Tee Martin (Currently working together in Baltimore) RB Willie Taggart (Currently working together in Baltimore) WR Bryan McClendon (WR coach at TBay, was PGC at UGA with Monken) TE Todd Hartley (Current TE coach at UGA, worked for Monken for 3 years) OL Matt Luke (Co-OC at Clemson, worked with Monken at UGA)

I don’t think we need a HC in waiting, Monken could easily be an 8-10 year guy.

Absolutely can't afford an "upstart" for OC.

We can’t lose Alford as the RB’s coach especially in lieu of Taggart.

Taggart was a QB and has coached QBs as well.

It’s the HC’s decision, but it would be wise to keep him.

I love the idea of Brian Griese being QB coach separate from OC. Get Bryce's feet right and how to read his progressions.

I think who is the DC is the more important question. Monken can call plays

If we get John Harbaugh, who is the OC?

For the love of God no Willie Taggert. He was terrible as a power 4/5 HC. I’d take Tee Martin over him

Buster Faulkner is a guy whose name just forces you to find a spot…#ballernames 😂

Idk why everyone is throwing wink out there, he never coached with wink and wink is no longer well thought of.

Hey coach Monk, here’s SH’s film. You think he fits your offense? Guess who his favorite mentor is? #nobrainer

I don’t see a NFL coordinator leaving the league to coordinate in college.

Maybe he brings a ravens analyst or something like Minter and McDonald were in the defensive side.

If the money is large enough it could be a possibility. If we’re firing the money cannons let’s shoot for the moon
