Let's not forget Julie his wife just opened a business in Lincoln. Would be unfair to make her uproot her business like that.

Said this in another thread..bears repeating.
His family has really put roots down in Lincoln. Look at how he is out and about at Nebraska events all the time talking with people. He already has enough money locked up to take care of multiple generations of his family. And as we all well know, going back to an Alma mater is not all it’s cracked up to be. And his buddy who is the AD is unlikely hiring the next coach and Rhule had a hand in picking his boss here.
I think he is very happy here.

This is more water cooler talk than it should be. Rhule has too much personal investment in it to walk away. He's got everything he needs, plus the media here is a lot easier to maneuver around with little pushback.
Penn State is one more black mark away from being a biohazard.

Get your head out of the sand. Money doesn't seem to matter anymore especially to the Kraft family. Rhule is definitely one of the top names out there and he is being considered. Depending how Nebraska shows up later in the year in Happy Valley will tell you a lot how much interest there really is. If we butt stomp Penn State you can bet the fans will be clamoring for him. If Penn State destroys us he will be off the board. That's how fickle programs are now. Franklin made it to the Final 4 of College football and he is out after 6 games. Help me Lord.
