Just my opinion, but I feel like the pre-game routine is incredibly stale. I literally don’t know 1 person that likes the mic man before the game (and absolutely hate that they doubled down prior to the 4th quarter).
Not sure if it’s PTSD since we lost the game, but Penn State had a super legit AC/DC entrance with fireworks in 2018. Wondering why they nixed that. That entrance was awesome and got the crowd super hype (think everyone was caught off guard in a good way and got jacked up).
The other time I got chills was in the first quarter vs Michigan in, I think, 2017 (granted this wasn’t a big game since we won) - but they played “all of the lights” in the first quarter and everyone organically pulled out their phones and lit up the stadium.
I guess the new lighting will give some new options in 2028 after the renovations are complete, but wondering why we settle for the lame, stale entrance we have now - I get Kraft has a ton going on, but would imagine that there is a gameday team that could handle this.
