This is a very poorly coached football team

the only consistency about this team is how many mistakes they make. Dropped passes. Giving up huge chunk plays on long down and distances. They have a chance to pick up a nice gain on first down and a maligned WR (Goodwin) can’t even get in front of the defensive back. Clock management is awful. Kicker has nose dived. thank god for how bad the rest of the schedule is. They should beat MSU, Purdue and northwestern but that’s about it.

Said the same thing... this is coaching. Poor coaching. Normally, I would write off the OP as an overly emotional, reactive take.. but actually it's very accurate today.

Harbaugh leaving via sabotage has to sting as much as humanly possible bc our next coach has to suck. All the good recruiting might be for naught if we can’t develop guys.

I think we have a lack of veterans / talent. Drops and lack of making plays (hill drop). Lotta freshman out there.

Drops aren’t coaching? It could be bad scouting/evaluation but you can only put a kid in front of a jugs machine so many times. Call me crazy but the offensive gameplan/playcalling has been excellent. Timely issues have stalled a couple drives with promise. Defense? A completely different story. Wink has to go.

Meanwhile OSU loses a coach bc of domestic violence and they replace him with the best WR coach out there. Make this make sense.

At this point they could win 10 games and I would still want massive changes. Might keep the head coach in the offensive coordinator. Not sure what else I would even keep at this point (If that)...

Yup. Very little attention to detail and worse execution compared to under Harbaugh. We can talk about which position coaches need to go (and that is 100% a thing) but it still comes down to the head man.

Hope I’m not wrong but I feel VERY right. Michigan runs away with this in 2nd half. Fairly easy win. Lol

JV/Novice coaching display today. Other than I think the play calling has been solid.

Just about every big place that was given up a player was there to make the play and didn’t do their job I agree with @MichaelSpath assessment, but every big play on defense that has been given up is a players phone not that they haven’t been put into position, and coaches can’t make guys catch the football.

In seasons/coaching regimes like this, I prefer to reminisce about happier times.

MSU is not guaranteed. Maryland will spank us. OSU will let us score 6 ( 2 Fieldgoals) amd score 36 on us with their back ups.

Can't even feel great about MSU and Northwestern at this point either. They do all the little things wrong. Which is compounded by stubborn coaching, terrible clock management and bone headed in game decisions. This is now a multi-season problem.

There were a number of guys that looked pretty good and/or promising after last year that have not gotten any better, some even worse.

Eh, hard to put a lot of today on the coaches. Overall we need our players to play better than the other team. Beat the guy in front of you.

Team makes the same mistake over and over. Struggles at blocking, tackling and catching the ball just bad at basic fundamentals
