Tonight was the death of FSU football

It's been a horrible two years. HORRIBLE! But tonight is the entire suck cake pinnacle. Mark October 18, 2025 down on the calendar -- the day FSU football died. Far beyond a loss to Jax State. For two years straight this team has quit, loafed, jogged, just showed up and gave little effort for every game but maybe one or two. It will not recover from this loss. Going to be a very long time before FSU is worthy of competing for a conference title in any league. The entire package stinks - offense, defense, special teams, effort, play calling, etc. There is no fixing one issue. This is the slowest FSU team I have ever seen.

I find it hard to cheer for some of the individuals. They celebrate in situations when we are behind. Why would you celebrate when an below average to poor team is beating you?!? Get off the field! If you make a stupid mistake, show some feelings like you want to get back in there and prove something. OUR PLAYERS DON'T WANT TO PROVE ANYTHING WITH TEAM, IT'S ALL ABOUT THEM AS INDIVIDUALS!

It wasn’t over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, and it ain’t over after Stanford beat Florida State.

Getting beat is one thing. Not giving effort is another animal. These players have quit. Just like they did with the team they transferred from.

It was the DEATH of Mike Norvell. Not FSU football. Step away from the ledge.

FSU went 0-11 in 1973. We have 3 national championships since then. The program is in a down cycle and will rise again.

*yawwwwn* People said the same thing when Willie was here. Some you need to understand the repercussions of worshipping football. It makes a terrible god and makes you say crazy things.

The worst part is they are paid to play by the fans and they still don’t care or give effort.

That’s not how any of this works anymore.

Team didn’t quit. Yes, they played undisciplined, stupid, and are horribly coached.

In what sense? Even NFL teams(we're headed in this direction), unless the ownership is horrible(NY Jets), have ups and downs.

Indiana football was a zero for basically all of my life (I’m 52). Their best season in my lifetime, prior to last year, was 8-3-1 in 1988. 22 months ago they hired a 62 year old guy from James Madison, and they are 17-2 since and aside from Ohio State are the best team in the country. Will we be that lucky? Probably not. At least not that quickly, but this stuff isn’t as hard as Willie Taggart and Mike Norvell have made it look. Not by a long shot.
