Garcia had been averaging about 5 mins/game recently so we’ve only been playing with 7. I assume he’ll take Frager’s minutes and maybe someone like Blue will play Garcia’s 5 minutes for a quick break for someone.

If Frager’s out long term, I think you have to throw Rhymes in there and burn the redshirt. Can’t mess around with this good of a season. I think he’s the best option of him, Blue, and Cooper

He's not. He'll be in the portal. I'm still not in on Garcia as a scorer but he's good as a rebounder.

Blue seems very sporadic on his dribble and just running in general. Just seems not very fluid. I’m sure part of that is live game action. We do need to find some more minutes from someone.

I would think there is a very minimal chance of burning a redshirt at this point. But if it’s going to happen, I’d go Cooper. Has some really nice games down the stretch last season in a very good basketball conference. And he can shoot it. I honestly don’t see Rhymes on the roster next season. No inside information, just my opinion.

The fact that Cale Jacobsen averages almost 20 minutes a game, despite shooting 27% from 3 and barely over 50% from the free throw line suggests to me that we don't have much depth. Hope it's nothing major with Frager. 🙏

Anyone that thinks we are playing Blue in meaningful minutes or pulling redshirts hasn’t been paying attention this year. Our defense is what is allowing us to take over most games and you put some of those other guys in we are going to give up way too many easy buckets to overcome with those same guys also playing the offensive end of the floor. Fred said on the radio post game how they will handle this and not once did he mention playing guys who haven’t been on the floor other than mop up time. Blue could probably come in for a minute or so as needed but even that would be risky.

Agree. Cale’s a sort of “do no harm” guy. He’s a journeyman, works hard. Garcia can pick this up. He’s a different sort of player than Frager…but he’s physical and fearless too. I predict he’ll show us more in the next few games. Fred had him ready for a reason. Rare for a team to escape a season with zero injuries. This’ll be ok.

I know that you mean well. But it’s funny when a team has a 20+ game winning streak you can name any guy, no matter how many, or few minutes….and say “we‘re undefeated when THAT guy’s on the floor”. Lol
