Wednesday's Injury Report: Kelly reveals update on QB Garrett Nussmeier's torso injury

LSU head coach Brian Kelly just spoke on the SEC Coaches Teleconference, and he was quickly asked about the health of quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. Speculation ran rampant this week regarding the truth behind LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier's health. I just asked Brian Kelly where things stand with his QB's torso injury + if surgery was being discussed. "This is misinformation." I hate to admit it, but I was kind of hoping it was an injury and not him taking a massive step back. Regardless if he doesn’t look better vs USCe or worst case scenario we lose, give MVB a chance to impress before we dive into the portal.

Yep. He’s hurt. BK is just a politician and is embellishing the truth. We all have eyes and saw those throws at Ole Miss. It doesn’t look like he’s on the “back end” of anything.
