I don’t know that I can having 3 losses but if the committee can look at wins instead of losses we should be in. But I don’t think they will.

If we had scheduled Chattanooga state week 1 instead of playing the best team in country in their house we’d be a no doubt playoff team. Shouldn’t be punished for actually scheduling real games in the non con

I mean I would rank them over ND or OU, but you know that they’ll be 11/12. And outside in due to auto qualifiers. I see why SEC wanted expansion to 16 now

Can't make the case, imo. Yea, there's the future scheduling talking point, but we're 10-2 if we beat every team we should have beat. Florida loss was inexcusable.

Zero chance B12 teams deserve a spot in the playoffs. Zero chance Notre Dame deserves a shot at the playoffs. Texas played tOSU within a touchdown on their field. BUT… If Texas doesn’t get in, I understand.

Sark said it better than I could’ve. Short concise and nailed it. Wouldn’t change a word

If we didn’t schedule last season’s #1 on the road but instead scheduled an FCS team it wouldn’t even be a question. Committee gets to decide what it thinks is important in college football - playing real teams or padding your wins. That’s the argument and sark made it well.

3 top 10 wins 2 top 5 losses (both away, one close) Had a real schedule Unlike ND, beat A&M Arch Manning

1 Big 12 1 ACC 1 G5 3 Big 10 5 SEC gonna come down to us, the Irish, and Bama. Those are tough blue bloods to be up against, but the Irish “good loss” to the Aggies looks less good now. 3-2 against the top 10 should be enough. Big Auburn and LSU fans tomorrow.

We've proven on the field that we are 1 of the 12 best teams in the country.

Just a shame that you get punished for scheduling quality out of conference opponents

If we knew their actual metrics I would try but they move the goal posts constantly. If overall wins and losses is what matters, then stop playing legit teams and schedule cup cakes. Otherwise it’s fairly simple in my mind. Who else has three top ten wins this year and a bad loss. Compare their schedules. I like us over the Irish at minimum but I’m biased.

3 top 10 wins. 2 of 3 losses are to teams on the road who have legit arguments as the best team in the country. Major out of conference games will disappear if we don’t make it.

3 top 10 wins. Who else can claim that? Texas deserves to be in if this committee doesn’t want to end teams scheduling quality OOC games they will do it. If not, those big matchups are over

If CFB wants every team to stop playing top OOC teams, leave us out. If CFB thinks only loss column matters leave us out. If CFB thinks schedules matter, put us in.
