2023 Iverson Classic roster revealed

On Monday afternoon, the Iverson Classic unveiled its roster for the upcoming 2023 event, which will take place in New Jersey at a date to be determined. Last year’s event ran from April 26-30.

The list of players include:

5-star SF Justin Edwards (Kentucky)

5-star C Aaron Bradshaw (Kentucky)

5-star CG DJ. Wagner Jr. (Kentucky)

5-star SF Mackenzie Mgbago (Duke)

5-star SG Stephon Castle (UConn)

5-star C Xavier Booker (Michigan State)

5-star CG Robert Dillingham (Kentucky)

5-star PF Omaha Biliew (Iowa State)

5-star PF Kwame Evans Jr. (Oregon)

5-star PF Sean Stewart (Duke)

5-star PG AJ Johnson (Texas)

5-star PG Caleb Foster (Duke)

5-star PG Elmarko Jackson (Kansas)

5-star PF TJ Power (Duke)

5-star SF Mookie Cook (Oregon)

4-star CG Chris Johnson (Kansas)

4-star SG Deshawn Harris-Smith (Maryland)

4-star SG Wesley Yates (Washington)

4-star SF Coen Carr (Michigan State)

Four-star shooting guard Freddie Dilione was selected but will not participate as he’s already enrolled at Tennessee. Elijah Gertrude, a four-star combo guard out of Jersey City who signed with Virginia will also not participate due to an injury.

A selection to replace Gertrude will be announced at a later date.

Duke and Kentucky will have the highest number of players representing in the event with four each. The Wildcats boast three of the top four players in the country according to the 2023 On3 Consensus in Edwards, Wagner Jr. and Bradshaw and Dillingham sits at No. 10.

Mgbako is the highest-ranked Duke signee in the event at No. 6 in the nation. Stewart is ranked as the No. 13 player in the coutnry while Foster is ranked No. 19 and Power is ranked No. 22.
