2023 NCAA Softball Tournament: Super Regional game times, TV networks released

The game times and TV networks have been released for Super Regional action in the 2023 NCAA Softball Tournament. The action begins Thursday with a matchup between Florida State and Georgia at 7 p.m. ET.

Regional play featured plenty of upsets, most notably with No. 2 overall seed UCLA going 0-2 with losses to Grand Canyon and Liberty to be eliminated. San Diego State won the Los Angeles Regional and will face No. 15 seed Utah.

Elsewhere, Louisiana shocked No. 10 seed LSU with a pair of wins Sunday, including 9-8 in the final game after scoring two runs in the final inning. They’ll move on to play No. 7 seed Washington, which pulled off a miracle to score seven runs after going scoreless in the first six innings of an elimination game against McNeese State.

Other big Super Regional matchups include OklahomaClemson, Florida StateGeorgia and TennesseeTexas.

The format for Super Regionals is a best-of-three series with the eight winners advancing to play in the WCWS from June 1-9 at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The WCWS is double-elimination style and the final two teams standing will then face off in a best-of-three series to decide the national champion.
