Four-star running back <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/treyaun-webb-116313/">Treyaun Webb</a> of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy decommitted from <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/oklahoma-sooners/">Oklahoma</a> on Sunday.



The decommitment from Webb comes hours after reports surfaced that Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley was set to be announced as USC’s next head coach.



“First off, I would like to thank the University of Oklahoma and the coaching staff for believing in me and welcoming me with open arms,” Webb said. “It has been a wild recruiting process for me to say the least, but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for me.”



“With that being said, due to the recent changes, my family and I have decided it is in my best interest to decommit from the University of Oklahoma. I am open to all schools.”



The 6-foot-1, 205 pound running back <a href="https://twitter.com/hayesfawcett3/status/1416474698846777353">committed to the Sooners on July 17th</a>. Webb chose Oklahoma over <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/georgia-bulldogs/">Georgia</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/ohio-state-buckeyes/">Ohio State</a>.



Treyaun Webb ranks as the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/">No. 128 player in the On3 Consensus</a>. He comes in as the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/?position=rb">fifth-best running back</a>, and the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/?state=fl">No. 24 player in Florida</a>. 



With the departure of Inniss earlier, and now Webb, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/oklahoma-sooners/football/2023/commits/">Oklahoma now holds five commits in the 2023 class.</a>
