11:59 a.m. CT — West: Four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa just hurdled an OL during AAB West practice’s FG drillwork. KVA, a Notre Dame signee, has been nothing short of excellent throughout the past two days in the second level of the West defense. He’s been stout vs the run, in pursuit, in coverage and also asserting himself on special teams. He has plus athletic traits. – Sam Spiegelman

11:54 a.m. CT — East: Final huddle at the middle field logo. That’ll do it for East practice. Quiet day this morning at Trinity University. – Cody Bellaire

11:51 a.m. CT — West: Michigan signee Jo’Ziah Edmond makes an outstanding play defending Gatlin Bair, who is largely been unguardable in this arena the past two days at West practice. 11:26 a.m. CT — West: Ryan Wingo has had a fantastic couple of days here in San Antonio showing off great hands, the ability to make contested grabs and also separation that includes on routes underneath, and also making plays downfield. He is big, physical and very polished already.

Courtney Crutchfield has made some impressive highlights throughout the week and that includes during today’s practice from the Alamodome. Crutchfield is as long as a burner down but he’s been impressive on routes underneath as well in this setting.

USC’s Marcelles Williams has been superb in past coverage this week, that includes in coverage on route downfield and in coverage in the middle of the field. He’s been sticky and tough defending, especially against talented pass catchers here at the West practice.

Four-star wide receiver Gatlin Bair is again in the conversation as a top overall performer for the West in this analyst’s opinion, he has been dynamic getting downfield on separating and making plays underneath and also during team drills was shining in making plays after the catch. He is fast, physical and a very impactful playmaker capable of attacking all over the field. – Sam Spiegelman

Ryan Wingo with a very nice over-the-shoulder catch against good coverage by Flowers. – Charles Power
