3-star CB Omillio Agard focused on two schools as decision approaches

Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep School three-star cornerback Omillio Agard has been steadily working to narrow his list of 33 offers down to a final two. After weeks of deliberation, Agard’s set not only on his top two schools but when he’ll make his decision.
Agard will pick between Clemson and Wisconsin and will make his decision on July 1.
“I started getting recruited my freshman year and those first two years were fun and exciting. Got into my junior year, bang, stressful,” Agard told On3. “It’s just a blessing to know that it’s finally almost over with. It’s been a mix of stress but also being blessed to be in a position that a lot of kids only dream about.
Early on his recruitment Agard thought it was a lock that he’d end up at Penn State. Then he took visits to places like Clemson and Tennessee that really opened up his eyes.
He admitted that after each visit he went through phases where he was sure he’d up at the school he had just visited. A few days after those visits he’d sit down and talk with his parents breaking down the pros and cons of each school.

Out of all the schools he visited and broke down, Clemson and Wisconsin stood as the final two who checked all of the boxes.
“The family-aspect with both schools is why they’re my final two,” said Agard, the No. 445 player in the 2024 class. “It just felt different when I took those visits. I know it’s a business now but I want to be comfortable where I end up and know that they’ll love me as a person.
“Those two schools really set themselves apart and they have a track record of doing that.”
Agard isn’t 100% sure where he’s going to end up once his commitment day rolls around.
He plans on sitting down with his parents and praying on the decision before fully coming to terms with it and announcing it to the public.
“I’m taking it to that last day,” Agard said. “I’ll talk to my parents the night before and see if the school I think of is really where I want to go. I’ll then tell the coaches and set it out on July 1. Right now it’s a shootout and I’m going to keep talking to God and see where I want to go.”
