4-star CB Graceson Littleton commits to Texas: 'I chose Texas because of their stability right now along with their culture'

Texas entered the race less than two weeks ago. The Longhorns offered the four-star cornerback out of Tampa (Fla.) Wiregrass Ranch on Nov. 1. Graceson Littleton backed off his pledge to Clemson before taking official visits to Michigan and Texas over the last two weekends. He has seen all he needed to see and Littleton has committed to the Longhorns.
“I committed to Texas and I made the final decision last night,” Littleton told On3. “I chose Texas because of their stability right now along with their culture. “Their defensive scheme makes them a great fit for me too. I think over the last four years, they’ve only continued to grow and they continue to bring in great players. I feel like I could be developed there as well.”
Adding another cornerback in this class was big for Steve Sarkisian and company and the No. 99 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking is headed to play in the SEC.
The visit moved the needle for Littleton and his family this past weekend.
“It was nice in Austin,” Littleton told On3. “I’ve never been there before, so I didn’t exactly know how it would be. I didn’t realize that the facility was in the downtown area. The culture was good. It was nice to get around some of the current players and hear their views on the program.

“Some highlights were taking part in the player meetings, talking with some of the players, being at the game, and going to dinner with my family and staff.”
Multiple coaches were involved in Littleton’s recruitment. Things moved quickly, but defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski, secondary coach Terry Joseph and Sarkisian all played a role.
“They have a plan for me. They think I fit their defensive scheme and can be a ball player in the secondary. Texas has been recruiting me heavy since they offered and the reasons Texas is a contender for me and got me on that visit was because of the defensive scheme and success of the program.”
