4-star DL TJ Lindsey locks in commitment date

Four-star defensive lineman TJ Lindsey of Bryant (Ark.) IMG Academy announced he will be committing on August 12.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is down to the following schools: Texas, Auburn, Miami, Texas A&M, and Alabama.

Breaking down the finalists

Lindsey quickly broke down what stands out about each of his top schools:

Texas: Coach Stark and Bo Davis are the two reasons the Longhorns are so high on my list. The development and connections from being a longhorn are endless

Auburn: Coach Freeze and Jeremy Garret are key factors in Auburn, as well as opportunity on and off the field.

Miami: Jason Taylor is the biggest reason I’d go to Miami. He’s one of the greatest to ever do it and one of my favorite players ever.

Texas A&M: Coach Elijah Robinson and Coach Tony are the two biggest reasons, and the connections and opportunities are endless.

Alabama: Iconic Program. The production at D-line is amazing, and I’d be being coached by the GOAT.

TJ Lindsey Recruiting Profile

Lindsey ranks as the No. 343 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 30 defensive lineman and the No. 48 player in the state of Florida.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
