Contenders have emerged for Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star linebacker Anthony Davis and he’s now officially named his top five schools.

Davis told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Friday that Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan and Ole Miss make up the top schools on his list.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder is the No. 249 overall prospect and No. 17 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 27 player in Georgia.

Thus far, Davis has locked in three official visits. He’ll be on The Plains visiting Auburn this weekend and will see at least Ole Miss (June 6) and Alabama (June 20) next month.

Playing for one of the top high school football programs in Georgia, Davis tallied 105 total tackles as a junior. The Rams won a state title and finished as the No. 7 team in the nation, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.

Davis talks some of his top schools

In previous interviews with On3, Davis has dished on what has some of his contenders in the mix as he continues to work towards a decision:

Auburn: “They’re building something and I can see it. They have a plan, they have a great staff and they aren’t afraid to play early … “I have already been to Auburn around seven times and what keeps them in the mix is how they constantly check on me and make me feel like I am a priority for them.”

Alabama: “My interest is very high in Alabama now … I love it there. The relationships are big, we Facetime almost every week and they showed me on this visit how big of a priority I am for them. Now, they are probably in my top three and I have locked in an official visit for June 20.”

Michigan: “They showed me that they really care about building real relationships, not just recruiting. They were direct, honest, and focused on growth, both as a player and a person. Their message was that I’d be developed the right way — pushed to be elite on the field and set up for success off it. They made it clear there’s a plan for guys who come through that program.”

Ole Miss: “Ole Miss has made things interesting …. the hospitality and the way they want to play for me really caught my attention … “On the visit I got to see the facilities and meet with coach Golding and coach Kiffin. The talks with the DC (Pete Golding) and the one-on-one time with coach Kiffin were the biggest highlights for me. Their message to me was that I’m a priority for them and they have a real plan for me.”
