Another one of the nation’s top quarterbacks is headed to Los Angeles for the Elite 11 Finals this summer.

Jackson (Ala.) four-star signal-caller Landon Duckworth is the latest to land an invite to the illustrious event, which will run from June 17-19. It was announced on Monday that the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is the 10th QB to pick up an invite. Duckworth showcased his skills at the Elite 11 Atlanta regional earlier this spring.

There are few higher honors for prep quarterbacks than being invited to the event, which will celebrate its 26th year in 2025. It bring together 20 of the country’s best quarterbacks for three days, ultimately ending with an MVP and 10 other ‘finalists’ being named.

Last year’s Elite 11 Finals featured more than a dozen of the top 20 quarterbacks in the final On3 Industry Rankings, including five of the top six players at the position.

The 2024 Alabama state champion currently ranks as the No. 72 overall prospect and No. 7 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Duckworth, a former South Carolina commit, is now down to five programs, including the Gamecocks. North Carolina, Ole Miss, Florida State and Auburn are also in the mix for the blue-chipper. He boosted his stock with a junior season that saw 3,109 passing yards and 34 touchdowns as well as 631 yards and 12 TDs on the ground.

Ole Miss is currently trending for Duckworth in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. He has a busy stretch of official visits beginning at the end of May, with Auburn (May 30), South Carolina (June 6), FSU (June 13) and Ole Miss (June 20) all on the docket.

“Ole Miss is in a good place with me, they are at the top of the board,” Duckworth told On3’s Chad Simmons this spring. “When I was up there for a visit, I liked the environment and the coaching staff. I went over film with coach Weiss, I like how they base their offense around the quarterback and how he can run or throw in their system.”
