Lake Stevens (Wash.) four-star running back Jayden Limar has flipped from Notre Dame to Oregon, electing to stay on the West Coast.

“This was a very tough decision for me,” Limar told On3. “I have nothing but love for Notre Dame. I have been thinking about this for probably two months. But at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for me and my family.”

While flipping had been on his mind for two months, it wasn’t until his home visit with Carlos Locklyn that he began really thinking about the flip.

He made the decision this past weekend on his official visit to Oregon. He feels that the school is a better fit academically and athletically.

“Lanning is building something very special,” Limar said. “Everyone says they have a family atmosphere but he shows it every day.

Limar is the No. 352 overall recruit and No. 25 running back  in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
