Pascagoula (Miss.) four-star safety Tylan Wilson is down to four schools in his recruitment, he tells On3.

Among the remaining contenders are Clemson, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Ole Miss. Wilson has already locked in official visits with the Tigers, Aggies and Razorbacks, and the Rebels are expected to get him on campus this summer as well.

Those visits will be key before his commitment, which he told On3 is set for July 18.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is the No. 212 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 21 safety and No. 10 recruit in the state of Mississippi.

In-state Ole Miss was among the schools to host him this spring, along with Mississippi State and Auburn. Lane Kiffin and Co. have made him a top priority.

“Everything was great,” Wilson told On3’s Steve Wiltfong of his visit. “I had a great time. I have a great relationship with the coaches. I really like the system that they run and I believe that I’ll be a good fit.”

The Aggies have been another major threat, and have been pursuing him as hard as any program.

As a junior, Wilson notched 73 tackles (including two for loss), and had six pass deflections and six interceptions.
