Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest offensive tackle Andrew Babalola is the No. 15 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking and over 30 schools have offered. After visiting over half a dozen schools this spring, the five-star has started to narrow his list down and he has locked in five official visits.

It starts this weekend with an official visit to Auburn.

“After Auburn, I will visit Missouri on May 31, Stanford on June 6, Michigan on June 14 and Oklahoma on June 21,” Babalola told On3. “Overall, this is what I felt in my heart and that is why I decided these were the schools I wanted to focus on moving forward. All five schools are different in their own way, but their values are the same. I like what they are about, how they develop players on the field and the support they offer off of it.

Babalola is not ready to set a commitment date, but he is planning to make his decision after his official visit to Norman is complete. Late June or early July could be the timeline, but he will take the time that he needs.

“I will go into the official visits with an open mind to all five schools, compare the different schools and make the best decision. I have visited all five of these schools already, so I have a good feeling about them. Now I want to go on the official visits, get another look at them and see how I feel.”

Babalola talks Auburn, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma and Stanford

Auburn: “With Auburn, it is about my relationship with Coach Jake Thorton. He is a good guy and he has a clear-cut plan for me if I go there. I also like what the players were like I spent time with them when I was there. That is something else I like about Auburn.”

Michigan: “Michigan has ridiculous offensive line tradition and history. With Michigan, it is the whole package with football, support and academics.”

Missouri: “It is the whole staff with Missouri. They recruit me hard and I have a great relationship with Coach Brandon Jones, the offensive line coach. Then with them, Missouri is also close to home.”

Oklahoma: “Coach Bill Bedenbaugh just keeps putting offensive linemen out. We have a great relationship and I also like Coach Brent Venables and his day-to-day approach.”

Stanford: “You have to start with the elite academics at Stanford. That separates them from others, but they have a good tradition in football too. Coach Troy Taylor is bringing the program back and I like his vision for the program.”
