South Carolina will travel down to Death Valley on Saturday night for a matchup against No. 11 LSU. Now, ahead of kickoff in Baton Rouge, the Southeastern Conference has dropped the final update to the injury report for the matchup.

The SEC released their availability reports this week with an initial one on Wednesday before an update on Thursday. Friday now has its final update from the conference ahead of seven games on the league’s slate tomorrow.

Here is that update to the injury report for the Gamecocks and Tigers, according to those at the SEC:

LSU Tigers

  • DE Gabriel Reliford – Out
  • OL Paul Mubenga – Out
  • WR Aaron Anderson – Questionable

South Carolina Gamecocks

  • OL Markee Anderson – Out
  • OL Nolan Hay – Out
  • OL Cason Henry – Out

LSU did not have any changes to the report from Wednesday to Thursday with each of their players keeping their respective designations. That’s mostly of note for their offense with their leading rusher in Durham labeled as probable but also their leading receiver in Anderson being questionable. On the season, Durham has rushed 52 times for 213 yards and two touchdowns while Anderson has caught 23 passes for 305 yards.

South Carolina then made several updates to their report, with five players having different designations from the first to the second. Hay and Henry each went doubtful to out, making all three players out for them offensive linemen with Anderson originally labeled as unavailable. Then, trending positively on defense, Norwood and Pikes each went from questionable to probable, while Judge Collier went from out all the way to off the report in being available tomorrow.

Each team is entering key stretches in conference play, with the Gamecocks playing five straight games against currently top-dozen ranked teams starting with this one while the Tigers will play this one before facing a Top-20 opponent and two opponents in the Top-10. With each also having one to two losses respectively, this one will now have some must-win aspects to it when South Carolina vs. LSU kicks off from the bayou for a night game tomorrow.
