Alabama at South Carolina: Friday availability report revealed

Williams-Brice Stadium will welcome one of the best teams in college football on Saturday afternoon with No. 4 Alabama vs. South Carolina kicking off in Columbia. Much has now changed for that matchup too ahead of the weekend with the updates coming on it from the SEC Availability Report.
At the release of the initial report on Wednesday, the Crimson Tide and Gamecocks only had eight players designated on it combined with their respective statuses pretty clear as either out or probable. However, while eight players in total were still on it, the report shifted a good bit with its update on Thursday night.

Here is now the update on Friday night for Alabama vs. South Carolina per the SEC Availability Report:
Alabama Crimson Tide
- LB Qua Russaw – Out
- WR Lotzeir Brooks – Out
- LB Jah-Marien Latham – Out
- LB Cayden Jones – Out
- TE Danny Lewis Jr. – Out
- DL Jeremiah Beaman – Out
- OL Geno VanDeMark – Probable
South Carolina Gamecocks
- OL Cason Henry – Out
‘Bama was the team that saw the most notable changes from Wednesday to Thursday, going from four players to seven. That’s as Danny Lewis Jr. joined the four originally designated as out, while Lotzier Brooks was downgraded to doubtful and Geno VanDeMark was noted as questionable.
South Carolina then did the opposite, going from four designations down to one. Cason Henry remained out on their offensive line, but Jatavius Shivers, actually first listed as out, and Monkell Goodwine and Nolan Hay, both of whom were probable, were removed from the report altogether.
