On Saturday, No. 8 Oklahoma (8-2, 4-2) will host No. 22 Missouri (7-3, 3-3) inside Memorial Stadium. Oklahoma landed at No. 8 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings and will be hungry for a win to help solidify its position.

Oklahoma boasts a 67-25-5 all-time record against the Tigers. However, Missouri defeated the Sooners 30-23 when they met last season. The Tigers will be aiming to play spoiler again this weekend.

Unfortunately, neither team will be at full-strength for the showdown. Look below to see each team’s latest availability report.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel added more information on where Pribula currently stands. The quarterback has been cleared to play but a final decision will not come until Friday.

“Pribula is medically cleared to play Saturday, sources said,” Thamel said. “The decision on his return will be made by the Missouri coaching staff, with input from Pribula on how the ankle is feeling. A final decision on Pribula’s status isn’t expected to be made until after Missouri practices on Friday, sources said.”

More on status of quarterback Beau Pribula

Missouri fans have their eyes on quarterback Beau Pribula, who suffered a dislocated ankle in the Tigers’ Week 9 loss to Vanderbilt. While Pribula has missed Missouri’s last two games, the injury ultimately didn’t require surgery.

Pribula was listed as doubtful on Wednesday. Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz said he won’t play Pribula unless he’s confident the Penn State transfer will be able to play at his typical level.

“I think we’ll probably huddle as a group and make the call,” Drinkwitz said earlier this week. “The very first thing and the most important thing is making sure the student athlete’s health and well-being. Playing against an elite defense, you don’t want to put somebody out there who can’t compete at the highest level.

“In knowing how aggressive (the Oklahoma defense is), it would be to the betterment of our team and Beau to not put him out there if he’s not able to play up to his level. We’ll circle him first and make sure his mental process is where it needs to be, and that’s if he clears the protocol with several doctors and trainers.”

In Pribula’s absence, true freshman QB Matt Zollers has been leading Missouri’s offense. Although he’s thrown four touchdowns compared to one interception this season, he’s also only completed 53% of his passes.

In contrast, Pribula has completed 69.6% of his pass attempts this season. While Missouri fans await an update on Pribula, Oklahoma fans are celebrating their quarterback’s recovery.

John Mateer underwent hand surgery earlier this season and returned just 17 days after the procedure. He didn’t look like himself initially, but is gradually returning to form and was instrumental in Oklahoma’s win over Alabama last week.

On Saturday, Missouri and Oklahoma will clash at 11 a.m. CT. The game will air live on ABC.
