Big 12 Conference reveals preseason all-league team

The Big 12 has announced its preseason all-conference team ahead of the 2025-26 season. The league unveiled the selections on Thursday afternoon in a press release.
Highlighting the list is Preseason Player of the Year JT Toppin, from Texas Tech. Notably, Toppin beat out BYU incoming superstar recruit AJ Dybantsa for the league’s top honor. Both are expected to be superstars on the floor this season.
A year ago, Toppin was the Big 12 Player of the Year, as well as a consensus second-team All-American. He helped lead the Red Raiders to an Elite Eight berth, where the team narrowly lost a heartbreaker to eventual national champion Florida.
During that campaign, Toppin accounted for 18.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game, one of the most productive players in the country. He also blocked 48 shots, dished out 42 assists and recorded 30 steals.
Dybantsa, on the other hand, is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the next NBA Draft. He’s that good.

As a recruit, Dybantsa was the No. 1 overall player in the nation, a Five Star+ prospect in the On3 Consensus. He hailed from Brockton, Mass., where he went to Utah Prep. His addition will make the Big 12 that much more fun to watch this year.
You can view the rest of the league’s selections below. The players listed with an asterisk were unanimous selections. There were four of them in the mix.
