Boise State WR Cam Camper plans to enter transfer portal

Boise State wide receiver Cam Camper plans to enter the transfer portal, his agency Summit Athletes tells On3. The former Indiana transfer is taking advantage of the NCAA Division I Board of Directors blanket waiver granting an additional year of eligibility to former junior college transfers.

Camper finished the 2024 season with 58 catches for 903 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Broncos in receiving yards. He has 1,757 career receiving yards. An Honorable Mention All-Mountain West selection this season, he started six games and logged 52 yards on four catches against Oregon, including a 17-yard touchdown.

Camper had previously announced his intention to enter the 2025 NFL draft, but because of the junior college ruling will enter the portal and return to college football for a final season.

“He’s becoming one of the best receivers in our conference,” Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson said earlier this season. “That young man works his absolute tail off, loves his teammates, lives in the training room and he’s become an absolute matchup issue for defenses.”
