Booger McFarland reacts to first-half Alabama-Georgia blowout, sounds alarm

Before you could blink, Alabama was up 28-0 against Georgia. Kalen DeBoer‘s team came ready to play and executed at a high level — both offensively and defensively. Quarterback Jalen Milroe has been as dangerous as ever, having the Bulldogs on the ropes.
This has caused for ESPN’s Booger McFarland to “Sound the alarm” with how Alabama is playing. He called it “an ass kicking like we never thought you would get in TTown.” Even the biggest believers in the Crimson Tide would not imagine a four-score lead at one point.
McFarland posted his patented DEFCON graphic, sending the highest alert possible. Of course, the game is still in its early stages but McFarland says “It’s over.”

This was not an out of the blue, declaring DEFCON 3 after Alabama went up 14-0. Urgency rose to DEFCON 1 when the score was 21-0. Another score was enough for McFarland to make his final call.
If Georgia has anything to say about McFarland’s declaration, they will have to come back in a hurry. A lot of time is still left on the clock but if Alabama is going to roll as they have up four touchdowns, it’s going to be insurmountable for the Bulldogs.
McFarland is not willing to give them a chance, though. He believes the game is over and we are witnessing a historic kind of blowout in Tuscaloosa. Strong words from the ESPN analyst as DeBoer gets his career in the SEC unofficially away.

Jalen Milroe hits LeBron James celebration after opening touchdown
DeBoer could not have asked for a better start in his inaugural SEC game as the Alabama head coach. After Georgia won the toss and deferred, Milroe led the offense down the field with ease for an opening drive touchdown. Milroe took the ball in himself, running into the end zone untouched.
Bryant-Denny Stadium went into a frenzy with the crowd celebrating and a red light show going off. Milroe was still celebrating though, hitting the famous LeBron James “Silencer” after going up 7-0 against Georgia.
A personal touch was added by Milroe, flexing, dipping, and going back into the dip. Right tackle Elijah Pritchett got in on the action as well, joining his quarterback.
You can check out the celebration from Milroe, with the comparison made by ESPN’s SportsCenter, here.
