Caleb Banks injury update: Wednesday availability report revealed for LSU vs. Florida

Florida and LSU are set to meet in a pivotal SEC matchup, one that carries a little more urgency for the Gators after a loss last weekend. And the injury report looms large for both teams.
Both teams have a handful of key players who have either missed time or been very limited in the first two weeks. The official injury report from the SEC came out on Wednesday night, giving us a better idea of where both teams stand.
You can view the complete injury report for both teams below. It gives you a pretty good gauged on the health of both teams.
Florida Gators
RB Treyaun Webb – Out
WR Dallas Wilson – Out
EDGE LJ McCray – Out
DB Micheal Caraway — Out
TE Scott Isacks – Out
OL Fletcher Westphal – Out
LSU Tigers
DT Zion Williams – Out
WR Destyn Hill – Questionable
TE Trey’Dez Green – Questionable
OL Braelin Moore – Questionable
Some of the expected players appear on the list, but one was notably absent. Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks has yet to play. He picked up an injury toward the back end of training camp, but is off the injury report ahead of this week’s matchup against LSU.
Banks has the ability to wreck games when healthy, and if Florida’s going to succeed against LSU this weekend it’s going to need to be disruptive up front on the defensive line. Banks accounted for 21 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble last year, and those numbers likely don’t do his presence justice.

On the other side of the ball, talented freshman wide receiver Dallas Wilson was supposed to make a major impact this fall. He has yet to play this year.
Wilson has been in a walking boot for a bit. Whether he can return is anyone’s guess, though he seems a bit less likely than Banks. Still, if he can go it would add another weapon to Florida’s arsenal.
On the other side, one of LSU’s better weapons has also been hobbled of late. That’s tight end Tre’Dez Green.
Green was injured on the first play of the fourth quarter against Louisiana Tech, appearing to hurt his knee. He was later seen on crutches with a knee brace. Green has logged 15 catches for 118 yards and five touchdowns over the last two years.
Also on the mend is starting center Braelin Moore, who suffered an ankle injury on the game’s opening play last week. If Moore is unable to go for LSU, the burden will increase on backup DJ Chester, who filled in against Louisiana Tech.
