CBS Sports has released their updated Top 25 and 1 following a chaotic Tuesday in the college basketball world. Following a weekend where upsets were the flavor of the sport, Tuesday continued to shock the sport with results that shook the rankings up.

First, No. 10 Wisconsin shocked No. 8 Purdue in Madison on Tuesday. The Badgers utilized heroics from freshman Chucky Hepburn to defeat the Boilermakers, clinching at least a share of the Big Ten crown. While Jaden Ivey accumulated 22 points in a hard-fought effort for Purdue, it wasn’t enough to defeat Wisconsin on the road.

Additionally, No. 6 Kansas was defeated for the second-straight contest — but this time it was at the hands of an unranked conference foe. Many expected Baylor to get revenge on the Jayhawks last weekend, but TCU shocked the college basketball world by defeating Kansas on Tuesday. The Horned Frogs faithful rushed the court after the 74-64 victory, where guard Mike Miles led the way with 19 points.

Elsewhere, No. 11 Villanova was able to defeat No. 9 Providence in a showdown between two elite programs. The thriller went down to the final seconds, where the Wildcats prevails. Moreover, guard Caleb Daniels helped Villanova find a victory, scoring 20 points against the Friars.

Finally, No. 13 Tennessee continues climb the CBS Top 25 and 1 with another victory. Perhaps the hottest team in the sport, thee Volunteers defeated Georgia on Tuesday after gaining a victory over Auburn on Saturday. As you can see, Rick Barnes’ squad is getting hot at the right time.
