Chicago Bears announce hefty season ticket price increase for second-straight season
Fans of the Chicago Bears are going to have to pay more to go to games. The franchise announced a hefty ticket price increase for the second straight season on Wednesday evening. The Bears let season ticket holders know that the price of tickets for the upcoming 2025 season will increase by an average of 10%. A year ago, there was an average increase of 8% on season tickets. That’s an 18% price increase over the span of two years.
Bears CEO Kevin Warren cited “market dynamics, industry trends, and a strong home schedule,” as the reasons for the ticket price increase, according to Front Office Sports. The franchise finished 5-12 this season, far below the expectations set by many had set for them ahead of the 2024 campaign.
The Bears brought in a plethora of talented wideouts such as rookie Rome Odunze and veteran Keenan Allen, but rookie quarterback Caleb Williams still struggled for much of the year, posting a 46.7 QBR, ranking him 28th in the NFL in that category.

Williams still threw for over 3,500 yards while tossing in 20 touchdowns with six interceptions. As a runner, he finished with 489 yards on the ground. The good news for Bears fans and their offensive attack is they brought in one of the best offensive minds in all of football this offseason, former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. He’s their new head coach. That should make a substantial difference in their offense and the team as a whole.
Johnson was the most sought-after head coaching candidate this hiring cycle, orchestrating a top-five offense in football over the last three seasons in Detroit. The 38-year-old might be the most innovative offensive play-caller in the game and deserves credit for getting the best out of quarterback Jared Goff. The Bears need more from Caleb Williams and are banking on the partnership with Johnson to be a winning one.
