In the aftermath of a viral CBS Sunday Morning interview, Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson dominated headlines. During the special, Hudson said neither she nor the North Carolina head coach would discuss how they met when reporter Tony Dokoupil asked the question.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo is among the voices weighing in on the couple’s relationship. He spoke at length about it on his SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday, calling it “a dog show.”

Russo discussed the relationship between the 73-year-old Belichick and 24-year-old Hudson, pointing out how he’d react to it if it was his daughter. He also wondered how Belichick would handled it if one of his players, assistant coaches or even his mentor, Bill Parcells went over to their girlfriend during a practice like he did at UNC this spring.

“I’ve said this a thousand times, I’m gonna say it again,” Russo said. “If Kiera Russo – and she’s the same age – if she came home, ‘Dad, can we go out to dinner with my new boyfriend?’ … If it means that much to you, Kiera, we’ll have a manhattan and we’ll go out to dinner at 5:00, if it means that much to you. Then, she comes home, she gets out of the door and the boyfriend is 10 years older than me? I’d say, honey, what are you doing here? Here’s another thing. Do you think there is any shape, way or form that Bill would allow a coach or a player – or his mentor, Parcells … allowing an assistant coach or a player to go to the conclusion of a practice at MetLife with his young girlfriend, who’s wearing heels? Are you kidding me?

“Bill would go crazy. ‘We’re working! Let’s go!’ I mean, my goodness gracious. And her scenario there last week with ‘We’re not going there,’ and the idea, I guess, she kept CBS waiting for 30 minutes. That was a complete disaster. I mean, this girlfriend of his, I mean, I’m sorry. She’s a young kid. She’s 24 years of age. She knows nothing about the media spotlight – especially the sports media spotlight – and it looks like she’s got Bill twirled around [her] finger. Let’s call it like we see it. This is a dog show. That’s what it looks like to me.”

Belichick and Hudson’s relationship has been squarely in the spotlight since Sunday’s interview, and he released a statement claiming CBS News created a “false narrative” that Hudson tried to control the conversation. He also said the interview was meant to be solely about his new book. However, CBS News released a statement of its own saying Belichick agreed to a “wide-ranging interview.
