Week 13 of College GameDay, which will be live from Ann Arbor for the Ohio StateMichigan game, has a guest picker.

Comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco will be the star making picks on ESPN’s pregame show for the final regular season weekend of 2021.

“Now, do I know anything about college football?” Maniscalco said in a video announcing his appearance. “Absolutely not. That’s why you gotta tune in.”

Maniscalco is a Midwest native, hailing from Chicago. He graduated from Northern Illinois.

The comedian is best known for his five comedy specials, his appearance in the Academy Award-winning film “Green Book” and his new show “Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco,” which airs on Discovery+.

Saturday will be the 12th time Michigan has hosted the traveling pregame show. Only Ohio State, Alabama, Florida and LSU have had the show on their campus more than the Wolverines.

The game will be Michigan’s 34th appearance on College GameDay overall, and they currently have a 16-17 record when playing in a GameDay game. The Buckeyes are making their 52nd appearance on the show, and they are 36-15 all-time in those previous 51 appearances.

Harbaugh looking for first win over Ohio State

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has never beaten Ohio State as the head coach at his alma mater. Ohio State has won the last eight meetings, and Michigan has won just three contests against their biggest rival since 2000.

Despite the recent domination by the Buckeyes, Michigan holds the win advantage historically. They are 58-51-6 against Ohio State.

The Wolverines have one of the nation’s best scoring defenses, but they will face a huge challenge against an Ohio State offense that looks better than anyone in the country. In their last two games, the Buckeyes put up 59 points on Purdue and 56 points on Michigan State. Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud passed for 793 yards and 11 touchdowns in those games.

Michigan is much better equipped to handle the Buckeyes than their two previous opponents, as both their pass and run defenses rank in the top 10 in the nation.

As always, the game kicks off at noon ET. It will be televised on Fox, and the Buckeyes are a 7.5-point road favorite. The winner will head to the Big Ten Championship Game and will be in a prime position to make the College Football Playoff.
