Colorado vs. Oregon odds: Early point spread released on Buffaloes, Ducks

Colorado and Oregon will meet in Eugene in a battle of undefeated Pac-12 teams to highlight an incredible Week 4 slate in college football. The oddsmakers in Vegas revealed the early lines on the game that’ll feature plenty of eyeballs.
Oregon opened up as a 17.5 point favorite over the Buffaloes, according to FanDuel. Yes, both teams are ranked in the respective polls, but Vegas likes the Ducks by a wide margin this week.
Based on the schedules so far and results, Oregon looks more impressive overall. But as Deion Sanders roams the Colorado sidelines, it’d be unwise to rule them out.
This should set up for a highly intriguing game as both teams came off vastly different Week 3 wins.
Oregon cruised to victory with a 55-10 win over Hawaii while Colorado defeated in-state rival Colorado State 43-35 in double overtime that featured plenty of emotions.
In the series history between the schools, Oregon leads it all-time 15-9. Last year, in Boulder, Oregon won 49-10.
The Ducks have won the last three matchups dating back to 2019 but this could be a new day for the Buffaloes. For now, Vegas likes Oregon by multiple scores.

“I think coach Ray is going to the hospital to check him out,” head coach Deion Sanders said postgame. “First thing I heard is that he would be out for a few weeks. I heard that for sure.
“But we’re gonna do what we gotta do to take care of him. So I know Travis like a book. He probably is gonna want to be out for two weeks, but we got to make sure his health is more important than this game.”
Ahead of the Colorado game, Oregon’s looking just fine and Bo Nix’s Heisman Trophy campaign is in full swing. Through three games this season, Nix has 893 yards, eight touchdowns, zero interceptions, a 77.6% completion percentage and 60 rushing yards.
There’s sure to be a build up between Colorado and Oregon coaches Deion Sanders and Dan Lanning and the latter assessed Sanders’ job this year.
“Yeah, obviously I’m going to have to take a deeper dive in,” Lanning said postgame, via ScoopDuck. “But you know, you have to be a fool to not recognize the results that they’ve created on a team that didn’t have a lot of success before.
“So he’s done a phenomenal job. He’s recruited a lot of players that I’m familiar with personally. They’re playing for him. He’s got a good roster, and they’re winning games. Doesn’t always matter how, but they’re winning games. So obviously, he’s doing something right up there.”
