The Dallas Cowboys elevated defensive tackle Justin Hamilton and tight end Jeremy Sprinkle ahead of the Cowboys’ Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hamilton and Sprinkle were elevated as COVID-19 replacements for linebacker Keanu Neal and defensive end Bradlee Anae, who were ruled out for week three after being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Dallas also elevated fullback Nick Ralston from the practice squad.

Hamilton is in his fifth season in the NFL, and his third with the Dallas Cowboys. An Ohio State product, Hamilton has recorded 13 tackles and half a sack in his career.

Sprinkle is also in his fifth season in the league and his first with the Dallas Cowboys after spending his first four seasons with the Washington Football Team. In his career, Sprinkle has recorded 34 receptions for 301 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys’ front seven will be absolutely decimated for the matchup against the Eagles as the following players will not play: Demarcus Lawrence, Keanu Neal, Dorance Armstrong, Neville Gallimore, Carlos Watkins, Bradlee Anae, and Trysten Hill.

Armstrong recently suffered a high ankle sprain, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. Watkins is out with a knee sprain.

In positive news for the Cowboys defensive line, defensive end Randy Gregory returns for the Cowboys after missing last week’s game due to COVID-19.

Offensively, offensive tackle Tyler Nsekhe and wide receiver Michael Gallup will be out again.

Nsekhe didn’t practice Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and was ruled out of the game Monday night after having had what is being reported as heat exhaustion and had to be taken to the hospital on Sept. 16.

Gallup will be out as he tends to his calf injury he suffered against the Buccaneers in the season opener.

Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson is currently listed as doubtful for the game. He didn’t practice Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so his chances of suiting up Monday night are slim. Wilson’s groin injury nagged him for most of fall camp and has lingered into the 2021 season.
