The Georgia Bulldogs are getting whipped by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 17-0 in their rivalry matchup. The game is currently at halftime, but things are looking bleak for the Bulldogs. And the game has plenty of people chatting on social media, including former Florida State star Danny Kanell. Kanell has not been afraid to make enemies on social media over the years, especially SEC fans.

And at the half of Georgia-Georgia Tech game, Kanell asked, “It’s probably time to ask….What would Georgia’s record be if they had to face an ACC schedule??”

Georgia has battled back, cutting the Georgia Tech lead to 20-13 with 8:18 left in the fourth quarter. But the Bulldogs still have work to do. Regardless, Georgia’s performance on Friday night further adds even more credence to Kanell’s point.

Georgia Tech once again countered, stretching their lead to 27-13 with 5:37 left in the fourth quarter. The Yellow Jackets are just one of four teams in college football this year with multiple wins over Top 10 opponents. Georgia Tech fumbled with a little bit less than two minutes left and the Bulldogs will have a chance to tie it up. UGA has a 30-game home winning streak on the line on Friday night.

The Yellow Jackets got the ball back with two timeouts remaining and 1:01 left on the clock, with the ball spotted on the 25-yard line. The game went to overtime with the score tied at 27-27. Georgia ended up prevailing 44-42 in eight overtimes in one of the wildest games in college football history.
