Los Alamitos (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star wide receiver and Louisville commit DeAndre Moore Jr. will not be signing his National Letter of Intent today, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons reports.

Moore is also being heavily pursued by Texas.

“DeAndre Moore, the Louisville commit, I’ve just gotten word that he is likely not going to sign today,” Simmons said on On3’s National Signing Day Show.

“Texas has tried to flip him. There’s been some confidence in Austin that he would flip to Texas today. But there’s a lot of depth to this commitment here for DeAndre Moore. This is a big one for him. Big decision. He’s teammates with multiple guys expected to sign with Louisville today with Pierce Clarkson and Aaron Williams.”

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the Longhorns a 52.2% chance to flip Moore.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Moore is No. 101 overall recruit and No. 17 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $141k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
