Diego Pavia throws up middle finger at club next to 'F**k Indiana' sign following Heisman Trophy loss
Diego Pavia is dealing with his Heisman runner up finish to Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza in his own it seems! He already called out the voters that gave Mendoza a commanding win in the first-place votes column.
Now, the Vanderbilt QB was recently seen partying with a NSFW sign at a club after Saturday night. The sign read “(expletive) Indiana.
Pavia and Vanderbilt will play in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Iowa while Indiana gets a first round bye as the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. You can see the sign by Pavia in the video below.
Despite his second-place finish, Pavia put together a huge season at Vanderbilt to become one of the finalists for the Heisman. In the end, his play on the field helped 189 voters pencil his name into the top slot for the trophy.
During the season, Pavia not only threw for 3,192 yards and 27 touchdowns, but added 826 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground as a true dual-threat. Pavia would end up producing an SEC-leading 4,018 yards of total offense and 36 combined touchdowns as a result.

Diego Pavia is going to do it his way, Heisman or not
It was part of a monster second season at Vanderbilt for Pavia. He helped the Commodores finish with a 10-win regular season and was in the the College Football Playoff race down the stretch under head coach Clark Lea.
“God willing, I will be playing in the ReliaQuest Bowl,” Pavia revealed via SportsCenter on Saturday. “If it’s up to me, I’ll be playing.”
Like him or not, Pavia said his swagger is hit and miss with football fans. But as he said, that’s just who he is.
“I think a lot of people kind of get overwhelmed with my confidence and swagger in a certain way, you know,” Pavia said on SportsCenter. “And it offends them a little bit, but that’s just who I am. I kind of had to be my own cheerleader my whole life, you know. And that’s coming from the New Mexico military, where you’re DMing coaches every single day, trying to just have a chance at the next level, you know? So, I’m super thankful for this opportunity that I’m in, you know?
“And I want to prove that in the NFL. I want to be a great NFL quarterback, and I want to be the winningest quarterback in the NFL eventually.”
