<a href="https://www.on3.com/sites/devils-illustrated/">Duke</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/sites/deacons-illustrated/">Wake Forest</a> will tip off on Saturday at noon ET. The game was initially scheduled for 5:45 p.m. ET, but was moved <a href="https://x.com/DukeMBB/status/2014382930940858791?s=20">due</a> to an impending winter storm.



The Blue Devils are hosting the showdown at the historic Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke is 6-0 in conference play and the heavy favorite to win on Saturday.



In contrast, Wake Forest is 11-8 overall and just 2-4 against ACC competition. Most recently, the Demon Deacons suffered a 91-79 loss to <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/smu-mustangs/">SMU</a>.



Meanwhile, Duke is riding high after dominating <a href="https://www.on3.com/sites/cardinal-sports-report/">Stanford</a> 80-50 in its last outing. In the win, the Blue Devils shot 56% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc.



Nobody outshone freshman forward <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/cameron-boozer-150005/">Cameron Boozer</a>, who tallied a team-high 30 points, 14 rebounds and four steals. <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/isaiah-evans-150393/">Isaiah Evans</a> was also excellent for Duke, adding 15 points to the Blue Devils’ winning effort.



The triumph capped off a West Coast sweep for the Blue Devils, who defeated California in their prior outing. Duke head coach <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/coach/jon-scheyer-64361/">Jon Scheyer</a> believes the team took a significant step in the right direction during their two-game stretch on the West Coast.



“First of all, I just want to thank our fans. For the West Coast trip, we haven’t been out here very often, and the way our fans showed up at Cal and Stanford is an incredible thing. We don’t take that for granted,” Scheyer said. “It was great to see a lot of blue. … The second thing, for us, it’s just a great win. It’s probably the most collective performance we’ve had on both ends of the ball.



“A ton of respect for Stanford, ton of respect for the teams they’ve beaten, especially here. We knew that it’s hard to come out here on the west coast trip and get two wins. I think it’s only been done once before last year. And so, for us, we viewed it as a challenge. I’m really proud of our guys for their maturity, their preparation, and then being able to not just get the win, but also grow and get better.” 



When Duke and Wake Forest face off Saturday, the Blue Devils will have a full week of rest under their belts. Other schools on the East Coast have also adjusted their game times on Saturday.
