ESPN announces kickoff times, broadcast information for Week 1 ACC vs. SEC games

The Week 1 slate in college football is loaded with some fascinating matchups. Anticipation is rising as the summer approaches for these showdowns, which feature a couple of ACC teams trying their luck against some of the SEC’s best.

With that in mind, ESPN has announced the kickoff times and broadcast information for Week 1’s clashes that feature these ACC teams versus SEC programs. Check them out below, as Brett McMurphy of the Action Network shared the news to X.

Saturday, Aug. 30

  • Syracuse vs. Tennessee — 12:00 p.m. ET, ABC | Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Alabama at Florida State — 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC | Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida
  • LSU at Clemson — 7:30 p.m. ET, ABC | Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina

Sunday, Aug. 31

First, Syracuse and Tennessee will face off in one of the premier games in Week 1, emanating live from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Volunteers iare currently a 13.5-point favorites for the game, per FanDuel Sportsbook. The moneyline has been set at -480 for Tennessee as well, while the Orange are sitting at and +360. On top of that, the over-under line is currently set at 55.5 points for this non-conference matchup.

The second game on the docket will see Florida State welcome Alabama to town in what should be a fun Doak Campbell Stadium environment. FanDuel has Alabama favored by just over a touchdown at 7.5 points. If you want the Crimson Tide on the money line, you can get it at -285 while Florida State is +230. The total has been set at 51.5.

Next, LSU and Clemson will face off in an exciting matchup at Memorial Stadium in the night-cap on Saturday. Clemson opened up as a favorite over LSU per FanDuel, listed as a 2.5 point favorite and -137 on the money line. LSU is listed at +114 on the money line and the total is 56.5 points.

Finally, South Carolina and the Virginia Tech will take center stage the following afternoon, taking place on Sunday, Aug. 31. The Gamecocks are currently a 9.5-point favorite for the game. The moneyline is set at -335 for SC and +265 for the Hokies. On top of that, the over-under line is currently set at 46.5 points for this non-conference matchup.

As you can tell, there’s a bevy of fascinating games slated to take place between ACC and SEC teams in Week 1. ESPN will have all of the action. Let the anticipation continue to grow for the start of the college football season.
