ESPN College GameDay: Picks for Week 3, Georgia at Tennessee

ESPN brought College GameDay to Knoxville for Week 3. Georgia is in town to take on Tennessee, creating a massive SEC showdown between the undefeated Bulldogs and the Volunteers.

Kirby Smart’s team has dominated Josh Heupel and company in recent seasons, but 2025 feels like the year the tide could turn. There’s plenty of exciting matchups outside The Volunteer State as well, like Florida at LSU, Texas A&M at Notre Dame and the upstart team in USF at Miami.

ESPN College GameDay Picks for Week 3:

Georgia at Tennessee: Herbstreit is on the call, so no pick from him — the rest of the crew had to lock in their predictions though. Howard and Saban are riding with the Dawgs, while Parker of course is rocking with the Vols. Take us home McAfee — “Rocky Top, you’ll always be home sweet home to me,” Tennessee it is.

Florida at LSU: Will anyone pick the Gators to go into Baton Rouge and escape with a win in Week 3? The answer is no.

Texas A&M at Notre Dame: Only McAfee believes in the Aggies. The rest of the crew is rocking with the Irish.

Arkansas at Ole Miss: Sam Pittman versus Lane Kiffin. Saban and McAfee are on the Rebels, but the rest of the crew believe the Razorbacks will get the dub.

Pittsburgh at West Virginia: McAfee has to ride with his Mountaineers. He’s the only one though, as everyone else is on the Panthers.

Clemson at Georgia Tech: McAfee is a believer in the Yellow Jackets. However, he’s a lone wolf — everyone else is on the Tigers.

Vanderbilt at South Carolina: Herbstreit is the only believer in the Commodores to get the win over the Gamecocks in Colombia.

South Florida at Miami (-17.5): College GameDay decided to pick a couple games against the spread on Saturday. Howard, Saban and Herbstreit believe the Hurricanes will cover their 17.5-point spread, while McAfee and Parker rode the Bulls.

Wisconsin at Alabama (-20.5): Only Howard believes the Badgers can cover the almost three touchdown spread against the Crimson Tide.
