ESPN forced to apologize after fan hijacks crowd mic at MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship

The ESPN broadcast of the MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship took an odd turn on Saturday when a fan decided to take advantage of the crowd microphone. The unnamed prankster could be heard clearly saying, “Lot of people saying Sacred Heart has diarrhea.”
The microphone, which is supposed to pick up the crowd’s cheers and the game’s ambience, instead turned into an open mic comedy night for the fan, who repeated the phrase after the commentators didn’t react to it the first time. They didn’t allow the fan’s second attempt to go unaddressed.
“OK, we apologize for our crowd mic,” one of the broadcasters said.
Sacred Heart might not have had issues in the bathroom, but they were having problems on the field. Siena ultimately defeated Sacred Heart 12-8 to claim its first Lacrosse MAAC Championship in 11 years.
“They shot better than we did and made more plays than we did,” Sacred Heart head coach Jon Basti said after the game, per The Middletown Press. “That’s what it comes down to. We took silly penalties, including myself, and I’m no different than them. Everything that could have gone their way, went their way.
“… This is going to sting because it is the last game of the season. But, what this team accomplished and what this program has accomplished over the last three years has to be discussed.”

SNL pokes fun at Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson relationship
Saturday Night Live was at it again with another President Donald Trump skit, this time roasting North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson. The cold open featured James Austin Johnson as the 47th president.
The skit featured Trump signing numerous executive orders to commemorate his first 100 days in office. The President is currently in the first year of his second term after serving from 2016-20.
Among Trump’s numerous “executive orders” in the skit was one that would make it “socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old,” a clear reference to Belichick and Hudson’s relationship. The Trump impersonator then doubled down by calling it “the Belichick law.”
The Belichick-Hudson relationship has had its fair share of drama since the coach’s CBS Sunday Morning interview last week. That included reports of Hudson being the reason why Hard Knocks pulled the plug on following North Carolina this summer and Hudson forcing her way onto Belichick’s Super Bowl commercial in February.
