Five-Star defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy of Lakeland (Florida) High is down to two schools — Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pounder visited both schools this summer. Texas A&M was an official, while Oklahoma was not. He tells On3 that he will officially visit Oklahoma on September 10th. He also visited Ohio State (official visit) and UCF (unofficial visit).

Brownlow-Dindy ranks as the No. 3 player nationally in the On300 2022 Rankings and the best defensive lineman in the class. He spoke with On3 about the two finalists.

Brownlow-Dindy on relationship with Oklahoma’s staff

“My relationship with the coaching staff in general has always been good,” Brownlow-Dindy said. “I’ve talked to Coach (Lincoln) Riley and Coach (Calvin) Thibodeaux since the beginning of my recruitment process. It’s always been a good connection.”

“We rarely talk about football, “ Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy said. “It’s usually how each other’s day is going.”

Going on visits gave Brownlow-Dindy and his family the opportunity to meet the coaches and build relationships to a greater extent.

“I definitely enjoyed being able to see all of the coaches in person for the first time, and getting to know them even more than we already do,” he said. “It was a highlight in my recruitment.”
