Miami 4-star LB commit Jordan Campbell visits Florida State

Miami Northwestern four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell has been committed to Miami since Nov. 21, 2023. He remains pledged to the hometown program, but he’s still taking looks elsewhere.
Three official visits are on the docket this month for Campbell, but he also opted to take an unofficial visit to Florida State over the weekend. The Seminoles are trying to get involved in the recruitment of the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder.
Campbell spent time around FSU assistant and former All-American LB Ernie Sims in Tallahassee on Sunday and Monday:
Campbell has tweaked his official visit schedule and is now set to return to Miami this weekend. He’ll then see Auburn (June 10), Nebraska (June 13) and Missouri (June 20) later in the month. Florida State will also look to remain a contender moving forward.
“Miami is home,” Campbell told On3’s Chad Simmons in February. “That is the biggest thing the coaches are always saying. They tell me that there is no reason to look anywhere else. All the coaches know me, they all want me at Miami and they just keep telling me that Miami is home.”
Campbell plays on both sides of the ball at the high school level and is a part of one of the most notable programs in the Sunshine State. Led by head coach and NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Northwestern won a state title last season.
The Canes commit is the No. 136 overall prospect and No. 8 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 15 player in Ohio.
