Former Miami EDGE Cyrus Moss announces decision to enter transfer portal

Former Miami EDGE defender Cyrus Moss announced on his Instagram page this weekend that he plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. He transferred to and played for the Portland State Vikings this year.
Moss appeared in five games across two seasons with the Hurricanes. Portland State finished 3-8 overall this season, ranking them sixth in the Big Sky Conference. In four games this year with PSU, Moss tallied three tackles. He has less than 100 career snaps in his college football career.

As a recruit, he was the No. 105 overall prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranked as the nation’s No. 11 EDGE and the No. 3 recruit in Nevada.
