Former Texas, Syracuse offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert expected to join Ole Miss staff

Ole Miss is expected to hire former Texas, Syracuse and USF offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert as an analyst, sources tell On3.
Gilbert was also a head coach at McNeese State, where he led the team to a 7-5 record in 2019 prior to being hired as the offensive coordinator at Syracuse.
Gilbert was the offensive coordinator for Charlie Strong’s last year at Texas in 2016 before following Strong to USF and serving as his OC there in 2017 and ’18.
