FSU continues hot recruiting run, lands commitment from 4-star TE Xavier Tiller

After his official visit to Florida State last week, four-star tight end Xavier Tiller told the media they would be “shocked” by his decision
On Monday, he showed why.
Tiller committed to the Seminoles on Monday afternoon, citing his excitement about playing in new coordinator Gus Malzahn’s offense as the primary reason.
“I love Coach Malzahn, what he does,” Tiller told Warchant’s Matt LaSerre after his decision. “I feel that’s a great fit for me.”
The Fairburn, Ga., product was seriously considering Auburn, Alabama, Florida and others, and he was previously committed to Texas A&M.
But the the four-star recruit appeared to be blown away following his official visit to Florida State.

“They stand really high. Really high,” Tiller said after the official visit. “You’ll see. Really high. … It’s time for decision-making time. Y’all are gonna be shocked, but it’s coming soon.”
Tiller’s commitment comes in the midst of an impressive recruiting run by the Seminoles.
Earlier Monday, Florida State flipped four-star wide receiver Devin Carter from Auburn. And on Sunday, the Seminoles landed four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal. Earlier in the weekend, they picked up offensive lineman Luke Francis.
“It feels amazing,” Tiller said of Florida State’s momentum on the recruiting trail.
He added that he is looking forward to helping the Seminoles attract other recruits.
His message? “Come join the family,” Tiller said.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Tiller is the No. 11 tight end in the country, the No. 22 prospect in Georgia, and the No. 222 recruit in the nation overall.
