Georgia Tech is expected to hire Western Kentucky co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Josh Crawford as wide receivers coach, sources tell On3.

Aided by Crawford, the Hilltoppers are ranked sixth nationally in total offense and ended their season with a 44-23 win over South Alabama in the New Orleans Bowl on Wednesday.

Before being hired at Western Kentucky in 2021, Crawford was a Georgia high school coach for 10 years, including as the co-offensive coordinator at Colquitt County and as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Valdosta.

While at the high school level, Crawford coached and developed players such as Jaheim Bell, who was a standout tight end at South Carolina before recently transferring to Florida State.
